Description
SDM CLEAN SR is a concentrated blend of strong water-wetting surfactants and solvents, used to clean up oil- and synthetic-based (OBM/SBM) mud residues during mud-to-brine well displacements.

Applications
SDM CLEAN SR is used as a wellbore cleanup chemical for downhole applications. It effectively emulsifies oil residues and disperses mud components and solids deposits leaving the surface water-wet after the treatment. It is used as a spacer during well displacement operations, usually following a SDM CLEAN SL solvent spacer. It is readily miscible/dispersible in fresh water, seawater and brines.
For OBM/SBM displacement, use at 2 – 10% dilution in fresh water, seawater or brine. Higher doses may be required for the removal of heavy hydrocarbon-based fluids. Pilot testing is recommended for determining optimum concentration. Use 1 – 2% dilution in water or seawater for surface equipment cleaning or rig wash.
