Description
GLUTE 25 is a highly active and biodegradable biocide glutaraldehyde-base with a broad spectrum of activity against sulfate-reducing and slime-forming bacteria in oil well drilling and completion applications.

Applications
It is used to treat contaminated make-up water for water-based mud systems to prevent bacterial degradation of polymers. It is also used in water-based mud and as part of a corrosion inhibition package in clear brine systems to reduce bacteria-related corrosion of casing, drill pipe and other tubulars.
