Description
SDM LUBE is a nontoxic biodegradable lubricant that can be used in different types of water-based drilling fluids.
SDM LUBE reduces torque and drag, lowers the differential sticking, and improves the rate of penetration in fresh water and salt water-based drilling fluids. The product does not produce sheen or grease out at high pH and it is stable at temperatures greater than 200° F.

Applications
SDM LUBE is be added directly to the mud system at a dose of 0.5% to 3.0% per volume. When added at 1.5% by volume in normal to medium weighted muds, about 60-70% torque reduction is observed.
