SDM COR is an amine derivative used as a brine soluble corrosion inhibitor. It is used for controlling the corrosion in completion brines.

Applications
SDM COR provides corrosion protection to the tubing, casings and other metals tools that are in contact with the completion brines made from different monovalent and divalent salts. SDM COR is compatible with saturated salt water and can be used be in workover and packer fluids to prevent corrosion. SDM COR is stable to temperatures up to 350° F, however, a pilot test is recommended prior to field trials.
It is typically used at 1.0% -3.0%, depending on the brine system.
