Description
SDM DFOAM DF100 is a blend of alcohol- and glycol-based defoaming agents used to control foaming issues in water-based muds. It helps prevent and mitigate foaming in different types of fluids based on freshwater, brackish water, seawater, and brines. It is a non-flammable and non-corrosive liquid.

Applications
SDM DFOAM DF100 can be used in a wide range of applications to reduce the tendency of forming a foam or to mitigate existing foaming in water-based muds. For use in water-based drilling and completion fluids, treat or pre-treat fluid with 0.25% -3.0% per volume, depending on the type of fluid. It can also be used in cementing applications.
