Description
SDM SLUDG A is a concentrated blend containing anionic surfactant and solvents that prevents the formation of sludge. Certain crude oils have a tendency to precipitate out asphaltene when they come in contact with acidic components thus creating sludge.

Applications
SDM SLUDG A is used to prevent the build-up of asphalt sludge and emulsion formation during the acidizing process. It forms a barrier between the asphaltene and the acid and is effective in all concentrations of hydrochloric acids treatments. The product has very good water-wetting characteristics.
SDM SLUDG A is anionic in nature and therefore the compatibility with other additives needs to be checked before application.
