SDM SLUDG C is a concentrated blend containing cationic surfactants and solvents that prevents the formation of sludge when certain crude oils get in contact with acid treatments.

Applications
SDM SLUDG C is used to prevent the formation of sludge and emulsion during acidizing treatments. It forms a barrier between the asphaltene and the acid and is effective in all concentrations of hydrochloric acids (HCl). The product has very good water wetting characteristics.
SDM SLUDG C is cationic in nature and therefore the compatibility with other additives needs to be checked before application.
