B.F.S was developed by Turbo-Chem laboratories in line with the concept of the Ideal Product Theory in One Package. The coarse particles in the B.F.S will bridge, while the small particles will fill the remaining spaces between them, and the finer particles will complete the internal seal of the fracture. BFS will not crush as brittle generic LCM does, leading to constant treatments, increased ECD, and formation damage. Contains fine/medium cellulose fiber, finely ground paper, diatomaceous earth, light organics.
BENEFITS
- BFS is so dynamic that not only do the finer particles seal the gaps between the larger particles and the fracture, but it also closes or cuts off fluid communication on both sides of the seal that is created, making it waterproof.
- It can be pumped through directional tools up to a concentration of 80 ppb.
- The presence of BFS combined with pressure reveals the success of the sealing process, which can be divided into 3 phases, Bridging, Filling, and Sealing.
- Effective at both low and high temperatures.
- Effective in water-based, oil-based, synthetic, and salt/polymer mud systems.
- BFS supplies a high seal of integrity compared to LCM's supply competitors of inert material particle sizes.

- System treatment: 2-6 ppb
- Sweep Pills: 5-25 ppb
- Pill: 15-70 ppb to maximize effectiveness in areas where there are even total mud losses.
