SDM DEFLOTHIN is a synthetic anionic deflocculant used as an effective thinner and mud viscosity control in water-based muds.

Applications
SDM DEFLOTHIN polymeric thinner helps in reducing the mud viscosity and gels in a wide range of water-base muds, from gel (spud) muds to more complex polymeric systems. It prevents mud gelling at high temperatures and over a wide range of pH.
SDM DEFLOTHIN PRO THIN is resistant to divalent ions and easy to handle.
SDM DEFLOTHIN can be added directly to the mud and is typically used at a concentration of 0.25-2.5lb/bbl.
SDM DEFLOCTHIN is a nonflammable and noncorrosive liquid.
