Description
SDM MUL RM is an organic rheology modifier that provides increased yield points, gels, and low-shear viscosity for oil-based muds (OBM) as compared to conventional polymeric rheology modifiers. Improvements to low-shear rheology are realized without significantly affecting plastic viscosity.

Applications
SDM MUL RM is used to improve solids suspension and hole cleaning properties in invert emulsion and all-oil systems. It is best used in conjunction with low concentrations (1–2 ppb) of organophilic clay. It can be used in OBM formulated with diesel or the most commonly used base oils around the world.
SDM MUL RM is used in an average concentration range of 0.5–3 lb/bbl, actual usage rates will depend on individual application.
